A basic coated hydrogen controlled MMA electrode for all positional welding of Carbon and Manganese steels giving a good cosmetic finish to mild steel welds.

Features and Benefits:

■ Low hydrogen potassium iron powder coating
■ Low temperature properties down to -30°C
■ Low Spatter
■ Smooth, stable quiet arc
■ Good penetration
■ Double deoxidisers manganese and silicon to help weld through certain levels of dirt, debris or mill scale that can be commonly found on structural steel

Typical Applications:

■ Steel plate structural steel
■ Pipework and forgings
■ Ideal for repair of castings of machinery
■ used where rutile deposits may be at rick of cracking
■ Ideal for construction of pressure vessels and structural fabrication work requiring charpy impact properties at sub zero temperatures such
as: BS 1501-LT 30 boiler plate and BS4360 and grade 50D structural steel.
